Asian E-Bike Challenge(AEBC) is an Eco-friendly competition which enables
undergraduate engineering students to design and manufacture commercial electric bike. The main aim of the event is to generate interest of students in the field of Electric Vehicles. MotoManipal participated in AEBC - 2019 in the month of September at
Vishakapatnam, Andhra Pradesh where 35 teams from all over India
participated. MotoManipal secured prizes in the following categories:
FMAE National Online Electric Bike Design Challenge is a competition for engineering student teams to develop an efficient electric bike by doing complete research and development of the bike. Teams around the country were to design an electric bike powered by 2kW Brushless DC Motor using different CAD Modeling softwares. MotoManipal participated in the FMAE National Online Electric Bike Design Challenge in the month of September, 2020 where 16 teams from across the country participated. MotoManipal was the declared as Overall Winner of the competition.

Just like season-1, MotoManipal was the crowned as Overall Winner of the competition once again. The team did not let the pandemic come in its way by winning back-to-back championships.

The Electric Bike Design Challenge Season 1, organised by Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, and Mechatron Motors, is a competition for engineering students to design an electric racing bike. It involves teams from various colleges across India. Apart from developing the e-bike, we also produced a Business Plan and Cost Report. The competition took place in March 2022, and MotoManipal secured the First Position Overall and Best Business Plan Award.
